Cathy's challenge is all about color this week. We are to use our birthstone and one neutral color on our cards. Being a May girl...emerald it is, and gold for my neutral. Sketched the branches and ornament, using two water colored pencils, green and grey...watercolored . Added the gold for the holder and around the card. Using a brush to apply the color to stamp. Used the grey for shading. Thanks for looking.

Such a perfect Christmas green, and your colouring on the pine needles is amazing! I know that in real life they are often prickly, but the watercolouring makes them look soft!

Masterful water coloring ~ I love the way you've achieved the look of light reflecting off the ornament, and the soft strokes you used to make the evergreen branches - gorgeous Christmas card!
