I saw a gorgeous Mother's Day card on the gallery yesterday and just had to sit down and case it. See Sassycpa Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I have had this background stamp for quite a while but know if I've ever used it. It is so busy for a BG to me. When I saw her painted card using it as a main image I just fell in love with it.
I picked my colors from the color wheel as I knew this busy scene would really need to coordinate well. I stamped the image in gray on Whisper White and then painted the whole image with watery reinkers. I made a big boo boo in one area so I decided to cut it out and then I kept the piece left and decided to pop up both the main portion of the card and the piece that was left after cutting out. I then stamped in versa and covered with Iridescent Ice EP and heated. I used mounting tape to pop up both pieces.

Nice cutouts. It really makes the card neat.
