this is a spread on our trip to the harley davidson easter egg hunt.
There is no journalling yet because, well, it kinda sucked, there were twice as many kids as eggs, no limit on eggs, kids crying etc. I have to let a little time pass before I can come up with something nice to say.
Luckily DD loved the bunny!

So sorry to hear it was such a bust. That is how it was the first year our H-D dealership put one on, too. But they've gotten better every year and my granddaughter really enjoys it now.

Now there's two things you wouldn't expect to see on the same layout: the Easter Bunny and a Harley Davidson logo, LOL!
You don't always have to find something nice to say. I have layouts of events that were total disasters...you'll laugh about it someday, so just tell it like it is.

Yeah, she had a good time, too young to miss out on the eggs. There were kids crying though and angry parents. It was sad. Too cool with the bunny on the motorcycle. DD thought that was pretty cool.

Cute pic and page. Too bad about the egg hunt, you could use a poem cute quote or just the dates if you didn't want to go into detail about the day (that's what I did when Santa called dd a boy). You could also talk about how dd liked the Easter bunny or was so patient waiting in line etc. Whatever you decide to do will only enhance a great page!

LOL - not something I expected that's for sure! What a fun (looking) page! Great pictures and layout with the H-D sticker and all. I think that your journaling tucked in somewhere will make you laugh one day!

good idea, maybe I'll do a hidden pull out tag behind the page that tells the story. that way it won't be a downer when you are looking at the book, but the memory is preserved for future humor?
