Sabrina's WT539 was to do "tiles or grids". I went with Beate's grid technique found HERE.
I first scored my white CS, then using a craft sheet, TH distress inks and a water mister, laid a stencil on the wet inks. I then placed the wet stencil on the scored white CS for my background.
Where it looks yellow on the butterflies is really Viva Gold. It is highly reflective and doesn't photograph accurately......neither do the Mr. Huey's shimmer sprays on the bg panel. So it goes.

Ho Hum....Your gold does appear yellow, but I'm sure IRL it is Incredibly Amazing because you always use gold to perfection, Sallie! Beautifully achieved bg for your pretty butterflies! Very lovely creation~

This is stunning, Sallie. The gold highlights are fabulous, and I can just imagine how beautiful your card looks in real life. I love the background and the soft blue with white colors too. Another beauty!

Loving how your dies are hanging from the top instead of in the bottom corner - what a lovely setting for the gilded butterflies!! Your soft colors make this card a real BEAUTY!!
