The CAS challenge today is to use mason jars. I had to cut my own jar. As far as I know I don't own a mason jar stamp or die. I stamped shells inside and colored the lid gold. Raffia was tied around the lid.
The die is Tim Holtz mixed media die/thinlets. I really love those dies. They do not have an outside blade so they don't cut out shapes. They cut out patterns on your cardstock. I sponged underneath my cuts.

Brenda,
Love the sea shells in the jar! My granddaughter loves sea shells and this so reminded me of her collecting them and placing them in her container! Will have to let her make a little card like this, she is only 4 but already loves card making!!
What a cool idea to have shells in your jar. I have a jar of shells in my bathroom, but would never of thought of this. Very creative card with your homemade jar and stenciling. I didn't notice until I read your description, that your jar wasn't stamped. ;)

Oh, it took me awhile to see what you meant about the Tim Holtz dies. How cool is that! And, you cut out your own mason jar. Love the raffia you put around the lid. This is a fun card and who couldn't love those seashells in the jar. Good to have a little time to comment on your cards for a change. Guess what, I actually uploaded another one. There are "miracles"! Hugz!
