The Inspiration Challenge today took us to Monika's Pinterest Board on Placemats. So delighted was I, I got lost in the beauty of that board, and knew my friend Faith would love that page, so sent her an email with the link - then after all that I finally settled on this:
I admit it, more for the dishes than the napkin!! And in the end, it took me longer to photograph my card than to make it. A dull grey day today, very hard to capture a good picture. I ended up on the top of my desk under a lamp to get my picture!
I sponged on the silks using the stencil, and sponged Viva Decor to my starfish. While they dried I embossed my background with the embossing folder, going around to cover all 4 sides. The sentiment is die cut from the Frantic Stamper Live Love Laugh die, and once attached I painted on the glaze. The starfish is mounted on foam dots. I added the pearls to finish. Such a fun morning - thank you Audrie, and thanks for looking.

I love the dies you used, and in keeping the colors of the inspiration piece, this became so summery!! I love it!

Wow this is amazing! I love the light blue and pearly whites together, so pretty and nautical!
