Another day of playing in the craft room. There are days I just tinker and most of the time I don't make anything to upload.. Usually because I'm not happy with it, but like yesterday... today I made something I like... A little different from my normal but it works.
I originally stamped the image and colored it in black to make my silhouette. I didn't like it so I took the mask I made out of eclipse tape and cut around the image to make my silhouette. I liked this much better, plus I could pop it up to give it a little dimension against the sun. I tried several different backgrounds but this had more of a punch. I splashed a bit of water over it to add interest. I scored my stripes into the hill for texture...

Beautifully done, Irene! Love your saturated colors that make this card really pop! Thanks for sharing it with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!

This is great. Awesome color. I think you should upload even if you don't like what you made (and a lot of us should take my advice -including ME) Someone will always like it.

Irene, this is one of the most clever uses of a stamp I have seen! Right into favorites with this one! I would have sworn that was a die cut before I read your description! How beautifully this is done!
