For today's MIX119 challenge ~ MIX119 .
I didn't think I'd get a card made, nothing was working out earlier. So I turned to this Brusho background that was on my desk waiting to be used, along with a spare Harlequin stamped and embossed on plain card. (The background panel is Brushos with a stencil on glossy card, but it was so glossy they ran under the stencil). I used emerald and sapphire to colour my Harlequin, since I'd looked at the F4A challenge earlier . Before sticking him on the base, I stamped some music and embossed with red, and added Aged Teal round most of the edge. There's already plenty of texture with all that embossing, but I also added a cork strip for him to stand on - and not wanting to waste the offcuts, I turned them into a banner across the top. I also added Dream (Serendipity die) cut from a self-adhesive shimmer sheet. It's finished with black Stickles all round the edged to add definition. I think I'd prefer it if I'd used gold glitter card rather than cork, but it's too late for that now.

Wow, feels like Mardi Gras, looking at this fabulous card!!! You just had the BG sitting? So glad it was handy to pop your Harlequin on with a bit of music beneath him. Love how you utilized the cork, both at the bottom and the top - great thinking for a super mixed media card!!
