Miss Francie (f.schles) is the Featured Stamper this week. I have always admired Francie for her use of colour - she has no fear, which I love. I laugh, as the card I picked to case is vibrant and full of life, and I did not use the beautiful reds, but blues, only as I wanted to use my Silks, so forgive me Francie. Have yourself a fabulous week. MIX104 Red butterfly by f.schles at Splitcoaststampers
I added the salty ocean with water on my mat and brushed on the colour to my background. I stamped and embossed the butterfly, hanging it over the side of the watercolour paper onto the cardstock, then added the blobs of Silks with my finger and drew the lines with a toothpick. Added the Ring and Puddles stencil with embossing paste. A few rain dots, some are blue, others clear (despite what the picture says!!) and the typeset sentiment "fly" to finish.

Oh Kia, this is GORGEOUS, and I think I like your soft colors better than my reds.... believe it or not, red is not one of my fav colors. I don't know what silks are, but it sure looks great on this card. The embossed areas look great. The sentiment gives your card such a fun, happy feel my friend. Thank you for making a card for this challenge.

I love everything about this, Kia! The beautiful soft colors, the wonderful texture, and the butterfly extending beyond the edge of the background. This is fabulous!
