I just took a quick peek at the CAS321 and the TLC530 before washing up for bed last night at 11. EVERYBODY knows that is a bad idea... especially for someone who has a card addiction ( greeting cards, not poker cards). I was just going to doodle a quick border and leave it for tomorrow. A brief look through a stack of bgs that I had made with dylusion spreys led to this one because it made me think of spring showers. I reversed things by doodling the border before stamping the image. The next thing I knew, I was knee deep in inks and stencils. I lightly sopnged the clouds with my cloud stencil. I used post it notes to mask the border and stamped some Ranger border stamps. The flower stems are actually stripped borders stamped vertically. I used just the flower on the tulips, masking off the stem and leaves that usually come on that stamp. The thing that took the most time was the one thing that I did not have to do. Those little green bows took forever to tie. Well, it seems like another week looking like the bride of Frankenstein from lack of sleep. TFL, Francie
I had to go back to edit this because I forgot the main reason I made this whimsical scene... it is my imaginary garden where I would love to go on those crazy days. A nap under those big, funky flowers sounds great right now. I added it to the CT0415 for tjis month's theme of " if you can dream it".

There's all those colors again, Francie. Wow, what a great bg. It's really bold and brilliant. The doodling was the perfect finishing touch. what a great card this is.
