I just got this great stencil/stamp combo from Stamplorations and it's so fun! First to create the watercolor look I inked the solid part of the stencil with distress inks and then spritzed with water. Laid the wc cs on top, removed and then let dry. Then here is the fun part- the flower stamp corresponds to the stencil shape, so then I stamped it on all the flowers. I then put the stencil back in place and sponged the blue ink the "correct" way through the stencil. Main panel is popped up for dimension. Die cut hello and added enamel dots. Loved how it turned out! Linking to WT527 (wc background) and CAS320 (stencil), and I just noticed it fits with today's springtime theme too (F4A269). Yea. Also,

This turned out so nicely... the flowers just pop. What a great combo to have the stencil and the stamp. The watercolor bg worked out really pretty. Into my favs.

That technique does sound like a cool one, but I would never be able to come anywhere close to what you've done here, Maura. I love the bold striking colors. Those colors took this card to the next greatest level.
