Come and join us with a western themed t-party this week and give some encouragement to our own Gabby's or gabalot...uncle. He has written 4 western books and 2 mysteries.
When I found this dp I thought it would be perfect. I sponged the blue part with night of navy. When I saw today's sketch I thought of a nice big western moon. and used the grass for the strip and the sign for the little square, was going to make the sign a bit bigger but didnt want to take away from the lovely moon with a buddy giving the cowboys nearby some natures music and sayin' hello.
I cut the moon out with a yellow paper and sponged pumpkin around it. Added the grass and stickers and made the sign from a computer print out ( bad pun I know )...hope it might give a bit of a smile...:0)...and frayed the edges and sponged them with a rusty brown.
Thanks for the visit and Ya'all have a great day !

So fun! Love the sponged moon and cute saying. Heard our dog howl for the first time the other day when the town was testing the tornado sirens....so funny!
This is soooo adorable! The paper is great, the moon looks fabulous, the sentiment fun and I love how you have hung the hat on it!!! I am glad you mentioned this is going to Gabby's Uncle. I will try to get a card out.

REALLY an impressive card...especially how creatively you used today's sketch. Love the circle as a big golden moon. The faux spiral-binding is a neat touch. WELL DONE!!!

WooHoo Wanda this is fantastic. What a fabulous creative card for both challenges. I love the funny pun and the little critter howling at the moon. Love it, love it, love it.
