I started this card on Monday for the CAS challenge to use no designer paper (used a decorative die instead), and then I saw the Thursday triple play challenge. I have three colors and three layers. This is a beautiful (and easy) rose to color, and I added a sentiment and then paper-pierced around the die before adding gold with my Krylon leafing pen. (More thoughts on my blog.)
So at least I finally made these two challenges in the same week - ha!! Thanks for looking, and I hope you like it. Hugs!

A lovely classic design framed with feminine softness. And a sentiment that speaks truth. The beauty of both speaks of the style and grace we've come to know in you. Lovely card, Cheryl.

Sister, your work is amazing. Such softness, and your coloring of this bloom is so delicate. Love the framing and touches of gold. Most of all, I love the sentiment. (Joyce still needs prayer) Hugs.....

Cheryl, you do florals proud and have such a delicate feminine, lacy style which I absolutely love. I haven't seen these decorative bg dies, but I'll keep my eyes open.
