I've been wanting to try the white embossing with watercolor technique that I've been seeing around lately. I purchased this gorgeous background stamp recently and thought that it would work well for that, but never got around to it until today. This is a fairly close CASE of a card using the same stamp that Mel (stampztoomuch) did waaaay back in June 2012, but that I just discovered a few weeks ago when I did a search for this stamp in the galleries. It turned out okay, but I think I need more practice to get really happy with this technique... I dyed my ribbon with a few drops of Smoky Slate re-inker in a bit of rubbing alcohol and used the Bow-Easy to make the bow.

I also have this stamp and I used it for the same technique. I used pink for the big flowers and softer pink for the smaller ones. I have uploaded it only on sb.com. By far that was my best card. Your card is beautiful. I also love the ribbon you added.

This is beautiful! I love your coloring of the flowers; they are so soft and pretty. I don't think you need practice; you did a great job with the technique. Your bow is just perfect too!
