Audrie found another Pinterest board for our inspiration today. It has photos featuring tea, teapots, teacups, and still lifes with tea. I chose this PHOTO focusing in on the geraniums.
I used sprinkled Brushos and a water mister for the bg and then used them mixed with water to watercolor the geraniums.

You colored with Brushos? WOW! You achieved your notorious color blending and such rich hues with it! Your images are so lifelike, Sallie! Another incredible work of art!

I'm so impressed - you painted the image with the Brushos!! I haven't tried that technique yet! It is a beautiful card - the geraniums are perfect colours and you got the splotched leaves just right.

Well, Sallie, it appears that YOUR geraniums are MUCH prettier than the ones in the inspiration photo! You got such a natural color shading on both the flowers and the leaves - I am AMAZED how life like these look! I do plan on getting some first hand help with learning all about these in the next couple months, however, I think it is safe to say, you have already mastered them perfectly.

I agree with Sue - I think your watercolor is so much more gorgeous than your inspiration photo. These are so lifelike, the detail on the leaves is unbelievable! Fabulous work of art, Sallie!
