Linda's challenge was to create a monochromatic card using green. I chose an emerald green shade as my base. Using Brushos in the green family, I created my bg, then embossed my image with white EP.

Looks like a peek into a magical Irish forest, Sallie, and you are REALLY enabling me now with the effects you are getting with these Brushos! Such AMAZING results!! Love this!

I love embossing in white and this is such a beautiful image to use. The background is wonderful! A really lovely spring card!

Meanwhile - deep, very deep in the forest there lived......and so the story goes. I love this. All sorts of creatures of the forest hiding in this one. This is so incredible - I am going to have to try and do something like this - but first things first - I think my white embossing powder needs to be replaced - its not white any more - its years and years old (ancient). Definitely one of my favourites.

Oh, Sallie - what a beautiful background. I tried a spattered background and it's waiting to be used for something else, it certainly wasn't worth making into a card this week. Spring is in the air here, for sure!
