Yay, it is Monday and time for the color challenge! So fun. DH woke me up at 3:30 this AM getting ready for hunting and I could not go back to sleep. If my camera battery had not died, I could have loaded this before work.
I colored my paper using the smash and squish technique that Susie Australia so wonderfully details. The paper had the right colors but you can barely see the Melon. I got a little of the Melon on my embossed panel so I just lightly splattered on some more - not sure if you can see it in the picture. My leaves were originally pink and I colored over them with some green watered down Brushos.
Hugz!!!!!

Your flowers are GORGEOUS! Wonderful job on that technique; and yes I see some of the melon splatters...just enough! Beautiful card!

The dogwood flowers look so real - I have just planted a dogwood tree in the garden - but think it will be a few years before it gets flowers on it like this. The embossed background is just perfect to show off the lovely flowers too.

Nancy, your blooms are gorgeous. I am really ready to see some real ones, though they won't be any prettier than these. Have a good day.

Your blossoms are so lovely against the white embossing and the shade of green you achieved is just gorgeous - perfect for the look of the rest of the card.
