This is my card for the teapot party challenge this week - to bring your tractors - red or green or anything in between. Bring farming implements or vegetables from your garden. Our cards are going to a gentleman who loves to garden.
I don't have any tractor images, but while looking at the clip art in one of my computer card making programs, I found this image of a young boy carrying water to the garden. I think it speaks volumes, as does this poem I found:
Whoever makes a garden
Has oh so many friends:
The glory of the morning,
The dew when daylight ends,
And rain and wind and sunshine
And dew and fertile sod,
For he who makes a garden
Works hand in hand with God.

I sized the image, lightened it and overlaid the poem. I know this isn't exactly what was asked for, but I'm pretty sure I'm safe from the challenge police ;)
As always, thanks for looking!

This is *exactly* the right thing...and the challenge police love it!!! The image couldn't be better and the verse is simply perfect. Your clean layout is just right for this manly card. Uncle Lloyd will absolutely love this! It is so sweet of you to come to his Teaparty this week...take some extra tractor cookies to share, you surely have earned them. Big ol' hugz from NJ Sweetie!

Jody this is so beautiful. The words are lovely and I love how you did the image. I have a feeling that Marie's Uncle Lloyd is in for a terrific Teaparty.

I have a feeling Uncle Lloyd is going to love the old fashioned feel of this young farm hand image, and appreciate the wonderful poem you found to go with it!! Very 'manly' card for someone who appreciates how God and man communicate while working the earth!! Hugs!

What a wonderful image for this challenge, Jody! Changing the lighting and overlaying that beautiful sentiment is such a wonderful idea! I never think to use the internet for image! You photographed it beautifully, too!
