Robin (Stamperrobin) is hostess today for the F4A challenge and she wants us to make a background from the wrinkle free technique, and add bleach dabbing. When I woke up and looked out the window I thought how strange the trees looked. It is so cold, and we had snow last night, yet none of the tree limbs had snow cover and they were a different color. That is where I went with this card. The background is done using TH Distress inks Fired Brick, Evergreen Bough and Weathered Wood. I did the bleach thing, then took it a bit further and dipped a q-tip in the bleach and dabbed around the card, there are both large and small dots. I then embossed with my fave ef, Sizzix Snow Dots.
I swiped the tree through Fired Brick and water, and then inked the edges with just the color to make them darker than the trunk and limbs and adhered with pop dots. The snow boarder is edged with Evergreen Bough, embossed with the snow dots ef and on foam strips. Added the brr - cut from a "Birthday" die and dragged it throught the Evergreen Bough. Added the pearls and some sequins to finish.
Thank you Robin, such a load of fun and thanks for
looking ...

This has a perfectly cold feel to it! I love the colors you chose for your beautiful background for that tree. Love your pearls along the snowdrift, too! Into my faves.
