This is for the WT challenge today, to use something favorite...I love to knit! Wish I had a few more hours in the day so I could knit everyday...and also for one of the HYCCT challenges...to show the love w/o using the phrase "I love you".
I die cut the beautiful doily out of some handmade ivory paper IÂ’ve had for a long time. I die cut the center out of the ivory & again out of the dp & added the little flower centers of the navy dp into the ivory version. The dp was cut first with a matting basics die then w/ a curved border die & added on top of more of the handmade ivory paper. The bottom portion that was cut off was turned over (itÂ’s double sided paper) & attached on the bottom. The greeting was stamped in the open section. The knitting basket & yarn images were stamped, lightly colored w/ Copics & die cut w/ the matching dies.
Thanks so much for looking! It's also on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, L O V E the texture in your doily! The mixture of your DP colors and the "cut-out" to put your sentiment are so cleverly done!! This quote and the basket of yarn are wonderful for showing the love w/o saying it!!
Congrats on your HYCCT win - enjoy your prize!!
