Double duty here - Liz and Lynn's challenge to the CCEE Stampers to create a scene, and Linda's easy peasy WT challenge. Birds and seaside - what's not to love for me about that!
I have seen many beautiful Wetlands cards, so this is inspired by more people than I can think of. I created a scene as if I were looking down - this is like the estuary where my mother used to push me along in a pram when I was a baby, looking down from the road to the sea below . It was even an area where the Canada Geese migrate to in the winter.
Stamped and masked the goose. Masked and sponged the grassy foreground. Stamped the sandpipers (?), added a bit of colour with pencils and then masked and sponged the sand, sea and sky. I added "happy little clouds" from a Mix-Ability challenge with white acrylic paint, and added some Stickles to the sea. Added some colour to the goose and layered it onto a white base. I'll possibly stamp a sentiment in the sky area when I know where this is going.

Sabrina, you have created a beautiful scene here! I love the way you coloured the waves in the water with stickles. Makes them sparkle just like in real life!

Sabrina this is so beautiful... I especially love the Canada Goose as they use to stay in the lake right beside my house in Canada then they would fly south for the winter... Love their formation... anyway, great scene you have created and lovely sponging.... very well done... love it...
