It's WT's 500th anniversary. Michelle asked us to go back to our first upload to SCS and recreate it....hopefully doing better. I don't know if I did a better card, but I doubt I could have done worse. My first card was pretty ugly and I'm surprised that I even received two comments!
Kathy asked us to have humor on our HYCCT cards for her challenge today. I hope that I haven't offended anyone's sensibilities...if so, please refrain from commenting. : ) A late comedienne once stated that a little irreverent humor can get you through some terrible times in life. I believe that.

Sallie, I think this is wonderful both in the redo of your very first card (which by the way, I love), and the humor. And your chalk board technique is fabulous.

Very funny! I like your use of the chalkboard on this..goes perfectly with the apron and the thing that cracked me up is not just the sentiment but that you starred out the word in your title!

I'm with you, Sallie! We all deal with pain & illness w/ massive amounts of humor around here. I think it's better than crying....and I look horrible if I've been crying, lol. And that's just not fair!

Sallie, I had to go look at your first upload! It isn't ugly at all. I like it. I like this one - a lot! The apron is great and I love your chalk board. I sure am not offended. You made me grin.

I don't think it is or ever was possible for you to create an ugly card. Great use of the chalkboard technique. I think this card has the ability to bring a smile to most any face.
