Looked through my dsp and found a piece that was soft sky and I thought it would go well with the snowflakes so used it to stamp my background. Then I cut a piece for the hill and sponged the edge for shading and stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in cherry cobbler. I addded that panel to a layer just 1/4" larger of silver glitter paper and a layer 1/4" larger that that of cherry cobbler. That is all on a base of Island indigo. Added gems and silver glitter snowflakes with gem centers to really bling it up.

I would've NEVER thought about that background paper!!! I would've been to scared to use it...seriously....but it DOES! That's why I love looking at other people's work. Now, I see that using a dimensional paper could be used and not take away from the focal points. LOVE IT!!!
