I had to get one more card made before I go on vacation because I saw that my friend and SCS member, Bonnie (aka bon2stamp) had posted yesterday's Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge - "wreaths". I love wreaths as a theme for Christmas cards and I just bought a set of peg stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry for making Christmas floral/greenery images. They are so much fun to use - lots of different tiny images that you put together however you want. I started by drawing a faint pencil circle to guide me, then went with the darkest green ink first, up to the lightest green, with the brown pinecones and red berries last as I wanted them to stand out from the greenery.
I added a small sentiment on a tag, attached it with baker's twine, bordered it with dark green, and popped it up on dimensionals.
It will also count towards my August quota for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge.

Your wreath is GORGEOUS, Susan. Using these Tapestry stamps is not as easy as one would suspect(I know). You did a fabulous job fashioning this wreath. Lovely, lovely Christmas card.
