We're having hot sunny summery weather here! I'd love to be with Cathy at the beach . Instead I'm doing some major multi-tasking with this card since it's averaging in the mid-eighties in my attic, with no air-con.
Cathy's challenge ~ WT484 Sand
It's also for this week's MMTPT307 The Ocean Can Calm the Troubled Soul challenge - this image seemed to capture Sheri's poem so perfectly - and for the current One Layer Card ODBD challenge.
I cut the base and used the SAMJ to position the image in the centre of the card. Scored round the edge of the image twice, leaving a gap above the tall grasses. Coloured the sun, rocks, grass and foam with pencils, then with masking I sponged the sea, sky and sand in.
Added some Stickles, and a sentiment. With a Versamark pen I added some Old Paper distress ep to the sand.

Sabrina, this is so beautiful! Oh, to be at the beach and away from the heat of inland. With this beauty, I can almost hear the waves crashing ashore, feel the sand between my toes, and smell the fresh salt air!
