Today's F4A is to use wood... real or faux. How fun! I used a piece of gray dp and hand doodled wood cuts and grain into it to create my "porch" floor. The pillar is also created by just scoring lines in a piece of white cs. The fence die was cut twice and overlapped to make it taller, and the wonderful verse and morning glories are from a newly released ODBD set called Glory. I fussy cut the morning glories and colored with Copics. The sky is sponged with shades of blue and gray.
Thanks so much for looking!

Beautiful! Wonderful job on the porch and the pillar looks so real. These Morning Glories are gorgeous and I love seeing the "growing" across the fence ...........speaking of the fence......what a great idea to make it taller. This verse......so true!!

This reminds me so much of lazy summer days when I was a kid - my grandmother had morning glories along the back fence, and I remember being fascinated by them.
I love your porch scene - what a wonderful place to kick back and enjoy the day!

Oh, this card makes my heart sing. What a beautiful scene you created. I love the verse. It brightens my cloudy, rainy weekend. You did a fabulous job making the pillar and the doodled wood is super. Doodling is so scary to me. HA
