I needed a bridal shower card and the TLC478 and CAS269 were the perfect inspiration. The purples and lavenders from the CAS challenge made me think of ribbon flowers. This card is a little too busy for a CAS card, but as I have mentioned before, I tend more toward elaborate and over done than clean and simple. However, I did manage to leave a little white showing. My ribbon flowers did not turn out quite like I had imagined (mine were somewhat lopsised) so I hit them with a little blast from my heat gun which made the satin ribbon crinkle and the lopsided part was not as noticable. I am addicted to the leaves from my hydrangia stamp, so I colored just the leaves with copics and fussy cut them. I adhered washi tape and ribbon to white cardstock and ran through the big shot with an ef. I think I will stick to buying my flowers...too many needle holes in my fingers from this card. Taking a hint from Susie, I will avoid lemon juice for the next few days.
