Congratulations to our newest Featured Stamper, genesis, Lisa Young. Your gallery is full of wonderful SUO cards, with your stamps used in so many different ways! It was this card Table set for Tea that inspired my case. I kept the general idea though I turned my card horizontal. Used a different sentiment, bigger tea cups and left out the pot.
My teacups are stamped with the Deep Lagoon and embossed. One is popped slightly above the other. The table is edged with a bit of paper doily. I love Lisa's lacy tablecloth. Since I changed up the orientation, I could fit the sweet sentiment which was stamped onto a skinny Spellbinders rectangle. I edged it with a smaller strip of polka dot dp and added just a wee bit of trim. The bolder 'wallpaper' polka dots go all the way to the edge, unlike Lisa who created a chair rail on her card. I added a cornice from one of Tim's dies (think it is the ornate one). It too, was popped above the panel.
This is going straight into an envie for a special delivery this afternoon. I am having tea at a wonderful Teahouse in town with an outta town friend, our own tessaduck! I suspect she'll pick ginger tea. And while she's close enough to jump in the car and play in her marvelous studio...I couldn't resist using that sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by today, get cozy and have a cup of tea...what's your favorite? Mine is Blue Flower Earl Grey.

What a warm and welcoming card. You seem like the kind of person you would like to share a cup of tea with. Wonderful case.

I love this, Susan! You always have the most awesome greetings!! I love your little round table, it reminds me of one that always sat in my grandmother's parlor.
