I used to have lovely nails, long, red, and someone else pampered them. I enjoyed them very much, before children, gardening, housework, and most of all following my art! Thank you kindly, Audrie for the free trip down memory lane with the nail art site PSHIIIT. Pretty stuff. I was inspired by many of the different polishes and little mini masterpieces on an individual nail bed.
I thought it would be fun to draw around my hand and use it in on my card. I traced my left hand. The hand was embossed with the Paisley ef. I 'painted' my nails with punched circles from the Basic Grey 'Fresh Cuts' paper group. They were epoxied with UTEE and applied to my fingertips.
I stamped my sentiment directly to the bg and added a date stamp between my last two fingers. A jaunty polka dot ribbon and I was done.
My hands are showing their age these days. That's okay, though...I've earned every brown spot, wrinkle, and crook. My hands are a bit like my life~~~a road map from art to heart to...oh, my what's around that next bend...
Happy Weekend, all! Thanks for stopping by today

Oh, I knew this was your card, Susan, when I saw it in the gallery. How creative you are with your art. I had to quit painting my nails with dark colors because I would rake them across my cards as I was making them and there would be a smudge of nail polish. Ugh! This is so awesome.

Susan, you did it again. I'm glad you are following your (H)art. Super BG and I hear you on the nails. I just got mine done for the last time this summer as I think they need to breathe. (I may chicken out and call my pamperer in a panic,) but we'll see. I like how you put "nails" on your hand.

Wonderful, Susan! I love the traced hands! Takes me right back to grade school. Of course then, I never had any nails. Now mine are always too long because I ignore them until they break, lol. But with one broken finger that healed crooked and too many scars to count, they are what they are!

Coming right out of the box and reaching that artistic hand into this cleverly designed card certainly fits this inspiration site and you polished with your philosophical words and placed it smack into the field of those beautiful background colors. You know how much I love you and your fabulous style!
