Another card for Sabrina's fun Button it Up challenge today - I used one of my hoarded vintage buttons which I got at St. George's Market in Belfast city centre/center. I sponged the bg using some magic mesh for a stencil, after I'd sponged the first layer of ink, so that the grid pattern was a little less defined. The feathers are embossed with gold ink. I really love this set, one of my favourites!

Bridget, this is so pretty. Love your mix of colors, and love all the feathers. I just got a brand new feather stamp, so you have inspired me :-). TFS.

Oh my! There are so many awesome elements to this card and the whole is greater than the sum of the parts - how's that for a colossal compliment?! Love the gold embossing and lovely vintage button, the rich colors and the arty grid background. How clever of you to think of using magic mesh as the stencil - perfect use of the product! I've got a stash of that stuff and its been unused for many years, now I will pull it out and try sponging. Thanks for the tip and for sharing your lovely creation!
