This for Loll Thompson! I ADORE her work and her gallery is FILLED with wonderfull creations I actually chose inspiration from TWO cards. One for the layout and back ground: CT1213 - Hugs by Loll Thompson at Splitcoaststampers
and one for the idea of taking the flower die and cutting it more than once: Just for You - F4A172 by Loll Thompson at Splitcoaststampers
I just tried to capture her style and CASness. She always makes it look so easy but she does so many things to her cards that takes them to the next level!
This card is also a birthday card for my friend of 34 years, Cindy.
These poor little Fuchsia's have had a rough morning! They have been ripped and put back together, taken off a completed card and started over on a new one and had leaves re-attached! I want to say here and now that I have MUCH respect for CAS card makers. I don't think there is ANYTHING simple about them.
I used the EKSuccess edge punch to create the panel(popped up)that the Fuchsia Sprig is placed on. I cut the sprig in pink and yellow and green twice and played with trying to get a realistic looking fuchsia! Would that be considered paper piecing? Loll does lots of that soooo well! Maybe that only counts on stamps....
Thank you for looking.

Fantastic results for all your efforts! This is so pretty! I agree with you regarding the difficulty of CAS cards. Loll is absolutely a master and makes CAS look so easy. Beautiful way to honor Loll.

Your poor fuchsias don't look like they have been through a war zone! This is one gorgeous card and that green panel is a stroke of inspiration! Love it.

You make me smile. You are so right. CAS cards are NOT simple. They just look that way. Yours is gorgeous and from another stamper who has a rough time with CAS, you did an awesome job here!

Wowza Peggy!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE this. Especially the way you embossed the upper part and then how complimentary the strip is with those little holes like swiss cheese. I have that fuschia die and I can attest how time consuming and sometimes frustrating it can be at times to get those little blooms on the vine. But you persevered and it certainly paid off. It's gorgeous!
