I had bought a stamp set with many cool scenes in London years ago - intending to make a scrapbook of the pictures I have of London....but I didn't use the stamp set until today! (That's what I love about the inspiration challenges - they always get me to pull out old stamps.)
Technique? All I did was rub a few markers over the stamp, while trying to stick to the underlying color palette of my inspiration (replacing blues with red for heat!). Then I misted the stamp with Glimmer Mist and rubbed the image into a piece of watercolor paper. Finally I took my aqua painter and a bit of marina mist to scribble some cloudy skies above it all.....magically the rain drops fell all on their own accord! What fun!
Enjoy!

LOL, that's always the first song that comes to my mind for any song based challenge, not even a weather one!!
What a fabulous stamp, and what an amazing effect you achieved with your markers and Glimmer Mist for misting the stamp (now that's a cool idea).
Thank you for playing along in my weather song challenge - as well as the inspiration you provided me for some of my own VSN cards .
