This is also for today's technique challenge - to make a one layer card. This card took me a long time to make. But I'm very happy with how it turned out. My card is a 5 1/2" square. I placed my circle stencil over the square and applied caulking (sealant) into the holes. Removed stencil and let caulking dry. Placed a mask in the middle and applied white and red acrylic paint to two corners over the dots. Let dry. Next I painted gold acrylic paint onto the script stamp and stamped over the red corners. Let dry. Stamped rose in center and coloured with copic markers. Placed circle mask over top and sponged brown around the rose. Placed chevron stencil over top and sponged on the pink, repositioned stencil and sponged on the brown. Applied gold acrylic paint around the edges of the card and then splattered some gold ink over the whole card. Added the sentiment tag and ribbon. And last of all, I applied gold stickles around the circle.
I love how this turned out.
Hugs..Pat
