It is snowing like crazy in South Alabama - we only get snow once every few years and it usually melts when it hits the ground - but today we have enough snow for a snowman. I may venture out and make one later.
Since we are closed at work, I had time to join the teaparty. I decided to play in this teaparty but also in last week's party as well. I didn't have a lighthouse stamp because I sent mine to the lighthouse freak (you know who you are) and the only sea/beach image I could find was this anchor image. Since this is a sympathy card for a sweet family who just lost their sweet daughter, I tried to cross nautical and girly. I am not sure how the flowers work on this - I put them on and took them off a bunch of times and finally decided they kind of look like sea foam and kept them.
Hey everyone - I missed you all! Is Curt here? Where are the sugar free cookies?
Hugz!

This is a beautiful sympathy hard, and they are so hard to get right. (I'm in North Georgia; I think we have about 3 inches of snow here. Way better than the usual ice.)

Oh man, Nancy, you know I am a fan of your style! This is outstanding and how wonderfully you incorporated the nautical and the flowers! I love that inspirational sentiment for such a sad occasion. Fabulous!

Sweet Nancy - what a delight to see you with the Teapotters!! What a gorgeous card...I hear you about the "put them on and took them off a bunch of times"... but they look perfect the way that you left them. Your anchor image behind the scripture looks - well - absolutely professional (and I mean that in the most complimentary way possible!). Wonderful die choice and the pearls totally rock it!. Thank you so much for coming to John and Lisa's Teaparty...this is sure to be cherished by them. Go ahead - have some of the angel cookies...angels can't have sugar or calories!!! Hugz from NJ and stay warm, my friend!

Oh, Nancy, you did mighty fine using the nautical look for the shore, as you softly combined it with compassion and peace. The verse from Hebrews will bring the family hope during this difficult time. As always, your heart was truly in the making of this beautiful card! Big Hugs X a bazillion!!
