Gosh, I was so excited to be chosen as a guest designer for CAS257, especially since I struggle with CAS! Quite an honor, to my way of thinking!
We were given a gorgeous color palette to choose from when creating our cards. After a false start or two, this is what I came up with.
I was so pleased to find the patterned paper in my stash - it's very subtle, but the pattern just matches the color of the tree and the card base. Everything just came together after that, and I'm pleased with how it turned out.

What a darling tree of hearts! Your subtle bg paper is perfect for this. I think you did a great job on the CAS style (I have a hard time with it, too)

Oh this is so sweet Jody! Love your heart filled die cut tree! Adding the fallen hearts at the base of the tree, so creative!!! Your heart border is wonderful too! Awesome Love/Valentine's Day card!!!
