Yesterday on CBS Sunday morning, there was a segment on why doodling helps your brain function more effectively. It was very interesting, check it out.
So I doodled some scallops for the CAS. I suppose this isn't quite as CAS as it could be but I wanted to do both of today's challenges and had time for one card. I changed the rules a bit for the TLC: I had already done this gelli print on chocolate cs with metallic paints and wanted to try the technique on that. It adds kind of lacy background effect. I did use the white pigment ink to paint the flowers and leaves but added color with watered down acrylic. I think it's rather interesting (but maybe strange too) and I'm glad I tried it with the brown gelli print.

Love your blossoms on that background and love the interesting way you colored them! Your doodles are the perfect edging for the challenge too and so even! Thanks for sharing!

hey, girlfriend. Sounds like we both got so involved we forgot it was CAS. It's a good thing. You sure know how to use this stamp in a variety of ways, and your card is not one bit strange.

LOVE this! The Gelli print background looks awesome, and the doodled scallops are great. This is one of my favorite stamps and it worked great with this technique!
