What a great Fan Club challenge - Dirty Deeds Done Cheap. I used a panel from a cardboard box, tore a bit of the front paper off then sprayed it with some distress ink refill and water.
I swished a distress ink pad over the whole lot, gave it another spritz and left it to dry. The orange spotty cardboard is a coffee pod box. I peeled a little of the top coat away so I could stamp the words.
The little cogs/metal washer thingies fell out of DH's pocket when I was doing the washing...that automatically makes them mine (doesn't it?) The raffia was taken from a little bag of shortbreads.
All of this was then mounted on black card stock that had a big blob of paint on it. I had heaps of fun making this. Thanks for looking.

I hope this little "coggy and wheels" things didn't come out of some important part of the heli he is flying :-) You never cease to amaze me with your creativity! I love the depth and texture and as Angela said, the magical quality you have achieved. Just wonderful!

Oh you make me laugh! Yes, yes! Things left in pockets on wash day become the property of the washer *giggle*
Wonderful recycling card for the DD CT this month. I love the art work of Tim Holtz (he only lived an hour and half north of us when we lived in Phoenix). He's from Flagstaff, Arizona. Got his start in a 5 & 10 variety store and the rest is history!
You've definitely mastered the grunge style on this card, Susie! I love the brooding dark mystery of this design - and DH's trinkets only add to the journey! Great card!
