Faith is asking us to show a resolution on our cards for the Tickle a Teapotter challenge today, as we say farewell to 2013 and hello to 2014.
My card shows making time for friends. It's easy to say "let's meet", but sometimes it never comes to pass unless we make an extra effort. I've recently met up a couple of times for lunch with an old school friend whom I just happened to bump into one day back in July when I was in town after work. But if I hadn't rung her and made the date - maybe we'd still have been talking about how we must meet when we were writing our Christmas cards!!
A2 base. I cut the bottom inch off the front - the diecut cardstock isn't as strong but gives enough support.
Image stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with pencils, Glossy Accents on the china cup. I used the same colours I'd used for colouring for my two scalloped layers. Computer generated sentiment - it might be in French but I'm still looking for my extra cookies ;-), tied on with seam binding.
Reason for the French sentiment - yikes, I forgot to send a Christmas card to one of our French friends who lives in the UK. Luckily a) she's home in Paris for Christmas and b) they tend to celebrate the New Year and Three Kings much more and c) French people send New Year's cards more than Christmas cards - so one of these went postal today and the other is all ready to send off to tickle a teapotter.

Sabrina, what a wonderful French scene, perfect for a coffee, a friend and special memories. You are so right we all need to make an effort to stay in touch with our friends. Thanks for taking part in the Tickle challenge and I wish you a Happy and healthy New Year!

Happy New Year, Sabrina... love the scene you created. A perfect setting to meet up with friends. I really like you new years resolution... So very true, time slips by and if you don't set a date to meet up, most times it doesn't happen...
Hugs...Pat

What a perfect little french cafe to enjoy a patisserie. I like your resolution, it was one of mine last year. I'm sorry I commented so late this week. If it wasn't for your email about who to tickle this morning I would have forgotten to upload my card.
