I stamped the butterflies with black stazon onto a page from an old encyclopedia. I love butterflies, especially Monarch butterflies. I know that the ones near me migrate to Mexico, so when I stamped these butterflies (although these are not monarchs), I used a page about Mexico. You would have a hard time telling that by trying to read it, but I know what it is on and that makes me happy. I used two different colored markers to water color each butterfly, except for the big one I used 3. I think the dual colors adds depth to the butterflies. I cut the panel into 3 pieces and added black cardstock, another page about Mexico and more black cardstock. I wanted an embellishment that wouldn't detract, so I decided upon a twine bow. This image is a new one from Mark's Finest Papers. You can check it out on the PREVIEW BLOG HOP which is going on now.
