What a wonderful gallery filled w/ Christmas wonders! I was inspired by so many but THIS one in particular. I actually made this previously, but it never made it here. I've been under the weather all week and haven't made a single new thing :(
I stamped the winter scene in black & left it uncolored. The greeting was stamped with red ink, except for the holly flourish on top. I wiped the red ink off, inked that part w/ black then added some color & a little stickles. I also added some stickles in areas on the scene. The bottom edges were cut with bracket border dies and the finished card is 5.50 x 4.25.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, I'm so sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. :( Hope things are looking up. I had some surgery this week on my leg and have been resting since mid-week myself. This card reminds me of the beautiful Currier and Ives cards we seen so often at Christmas. Beautiful frame and border. It really enhances the beauty of your design. Top notch!
This is modern take on an old-fashioned Christmas card. I love every detail. Wish I could see it in person to see the sparkle on the black and white scene.
