Very inspired by this lovely card by jreks: http://tinyurl.com/j9jav
After the calla lily image is stamped on cardstock vellum with Stazon, place it on an embossing mat and trace the outline of the bloom and stem only on the front with the stylus. Then flip it over and dry emboss on the back inside the lines that were created on the front, using the large end of the stylus. Rubbing the back first with wax paper reduces the risk of tearing. The vellum turns white from the abrasion - very pretty effect. Repeat with the stylus on the front and back a few times to better define the image and gradually stretch the vellum. Color with markers on the back first, then color on the front where you want a deeper color. Use a blender pen sparingly to remove color if necessary - I found out the hard way that over-using the blender pen will warp the vellum. I also stamped the image again on the Blush Blossom layer in Stazon Timber Brown, then bleached out the flower and stem and a few spots on the leaf. Then I trimmed and mounted the embossed vellum image over the bleached one - it really makes it pop. Dimensionals are placed under the embossed areas for support.

I have the strongest urge to touch this beautiful card. Your gallery is like art classes and I can't thank you enough. Aside from the brilliantly stunning main image, one has to appreciate the care in the execution of the background. So well done, Linda, in every detail! Outstanding!

Another wonderful, outstanding card. The color combo, the lilly, everything presents a mood that is perfect for the sentiment. You missed your calling, you could have been designing for H*llm*rk! Karen
