I made this card using 3 of this week's challenges; the TLC, to stamp and color dp, the CAS, using the theme Road Trip, and last but not least, for the tea party this week we are to make a card using a travel theme. I would love to take our camper and drive from the North Atlantic, all the way to Disney's Fort Wilderness campground in Florida. However, with an 8 year old boy who can't stand sitting still, that trip will not happen any time soon
My truck has been stamped onto SU patterns dsp and I colored the wheels black . The camper is paper pieced using kraft polka dotted dp. I used bits of Petite Pairs and the Stamp-a-ma-jig to make the sentiment.
This card will be going to tickle a teapotter!

Love your truck and camper. You'd be the hit of the campground in a blue polka dot truck. I have a similiar plan for us when my husband decides to retire. We will start here and drive the west coast, then travel through the southern states then up the east coast and finally along the northern states to see South Dakota and through Idaho.

How cute is this Darla!!!!!?????? I think it would be great to have a polka dot truck or car. Hey auto & truck makers, take the hint. You'd make a mint!! I am going to Florida in October and staying at Pop Century and with my 9 year old DGD. But we are flying, so she won't have to sit still too long BTW, I love your ribbon and zigzag road.

This is a totally adorable card. I love your pieced pick-up and camper - and the embossed zig-zag road is a wonderful touch along with the ribbon road.
