This week our cards are headed to Texas once again, though this time they are going to Arlington and Doreen. Doreen is a school teacher and doesn't get to head back to school just yet, due to some health issues. In come the Teapotters to brighten her day and send her some cheer!
Our teapot this week is a beautiful strawberry covered one. So if you're seeing lots of juicy berries in the gallery, this is why. Don't they make you want a big bowl of fresh "homegrown" strawberries, it does me!
I have a few small strawberry stamps, but nothing as beautiful as this illustration I found on the Mother Earth News site. The illustration is by Keith Ward.
I printed it out on photo paper, but not in the photo mode. Using the same photo paper, I stamped the sentiment, though you can't heat emboss, as the paper will bubble from the heat. I cut a few strawberries (one here) with Spellbinders die and a few small cherry blossom flowers and flourishes to embellish.
I hope these cards bring lots of cheer to Doreen.

Jennifer, how beautifully you integrated your lovely(and credited) print with your own die cut strawberries and tendrils. A lovely card that Doreen is sure to enjoy.
