I didn't think I'd get to make a card today, since I've been out visiting with my aunt. But this morning over breakfast I spotted this simply beautiful Winnie-the-Pooh wallet, and since I actually had some punched out circles and half circles from a piece of wood veneer I used yesterday, I thought I just had to use at least a couple of them .
The veneer was left from yesterday's MIX23 challenge, and this card qualifies for that too, since while the semi-circles are wood veneer, the leaf was actually cut from a piece of faux wood left from another project, so really it's cardstock ;-), and the little butterfly is punched from a tomato paste tube.
Very CAS as it's way too hot to stamp even at eight in the evening. It's about 85 F with all my windows open -the downside of an attic.
A2 white base. Canvas stamped through a mask with Forest Moss distress ink.
IO leaf die, cut from a scrap of old faux wood.
Half circles punched from wood veneer.
PSX sentiment.

Very nice! Love the canvas bkgrd w/the wonderful leaf! It was almost 90F here. I live on the third floor and the temp is always at least 10 degrees warmer inside than outside. I was home today and glad that my air conditioner kept it at 75F, which was comfortable. I think I would have been sweating too much in 85F to concentrate on making a card. Hee!
