Whoa! This card is so different from what I started to make! Funny how that happens. Anyway, this is for the MIX22 and F4A175 challenges. In the Free for All challenge, we were asked to Go Big. In the MIX22 challenge, use a credit card with our mixed media.
In the beginning, I poured a little MS Lake Fog acrylic paint onto my c/s. Then I used a business card to smear it around....I was thinking hmmm, maybe a cloud? LOL no, that wasn't working so I pulled some paint in straight lines outward from the center. The next layer is the metallic blue paint I used the business card again to make the flower and leaf. Next I stencil the word breathe across the top, but I wasn't sure if I liked the Granny Smith color (so later I chopped that off). I grabbed a bunch of star stamps and added them using, Versafine, Stayzon and Memento inks. Then I stenciled with the Geranium color. I used chalks to add color to the flower and stamped the spider. Oh and at some point I sponged all the edges.
I thought splitting the image might make it more interesting.
All of the MIX challenges are a real stretch for me, I am learning as I go! But I truly appreciate the opportunity to learn from such amazing artists here!

Wow how wonderful this is! I love the process you described too! I truly relate to difficult except you ended up with a card and I ended up with a bucket of soapy water to clean up the mess and no card (grin)
I love that you ended up with a flower, a collage background and even a tiny spider! This is fantastic!
