Love how this turned out ... the inks blend so nicely on vellum. I used my heat tool to dry the ink, but found it still smudged a little, so I covered the front with an acetate sheet to protect the ink - worked great. I framed the brayered vellum between two pieces of white cardstock, both with a rectangle die-cut in the center. I then popped it up on my card front to give some space between the vellum and card.
I used the colours from the Colours & Sketches Challenge #30 - colours: cajun crazy, gumball green, primrose petals. Love these colours together!

This is so lovely. What a great technique! I'll have to give it a try. With those colours, you could easily adapt it to a Christmas card (which is what I might do as a CASE of yours!!!).

This is gorgeous! I saw it in the gallery as I was heading somewhere else, and had to stop and comment.

Your colors are to die for. The simplicity of the design and the brayering on the vellum make for one of the most beautiful cards i've seein in a very long time. I love how you framed the vellum. I never would've thought of that.
TFS!

Gorgeous card, Loll! I love the brayered vellum scene--it gives such a feeling of peace. I struggle with the brayer, always ending up with lines, although I've never tried it on vellum. Thanks for the inspiration!
