This week is Tickle a Teapotter week, it's our reward fo all the weeks we send out cards to those in need of cheer.
This week we are going out to Old Mac Stamper's farm, where because of the drought last year, feed is in short supply. Though the wheat itself is for humans, the silage will be fed to the animals. This wheat field also has echinacea growing along the borders. Mrs. Mac Stamper uses it for her home remedies for colds and such.
The wheat has been stamped onto cream c/s with black and mustard inks. The acetate was first colored with alcohol inks for the sky and grass, then on the front, the echinacea was stamped. This is layered over the c/s panel.
There's a little bee brad and a butterfly, cuz we all know you have to have the pollinators to get a
successful crop.
The frame is cut with the wonky rectangles die and embossed with the chicken wire ef.

This is a lovely, lovely card. It makes me feel like I'm looking out a window on a beautiful sunny day. Using the acetate layer really adds nice depth to the view.

Wow, a lot of thought went into the planning for this PLANTING - echinacea along with the wheat, and you must know a lot about gardening and planting, talking about the pollinator bee and butterfly! Love how this is framed out with the chicken wire EF - how appropriate for the tea party with all the animals coming!! WTG!
