This is my card for this weekÂ’s cc426 challenge. Peggy is our hostess and she chose the retiring colors of regal rose and certainly celery and the returning color of bermuda bay.
Our dessert is to use words of encouragement-wisdom or best wishes.
After the color choices, I picked my layout which is the Viva la verve week 1 sketch.
Then I chose my dsp which is SUÂ’s regal rose designer paper pack for the bg panel. I used the stylized flowers ef on the paper.
And I used the retired welcome neighbor collection for the rectangle panel. The other panel is certainly celery and I used the floral fantasy embossing folder.
I used the MFT dizzy doily die with Bermuda bay and cut a smaller circle in whisper white to add my sentiment. ItÂ’s from Verve and I received it free with my last order. I added a celery button and punched a butterfly for the top corner.
Paper: regal rose, certainly celery, Bermuda bay, ww, designer paper pack, welcome neighbor dsp (SU)
Ink: bermuda bay
Accessories: Cuttlebug floral fantasy and stylized flowers ef, MFT dizzy doily die, MS butterfly punch, celery button, pearls, spellbinders matting basics A & B

Mary, your card is just delightful. The embossing on the dotted paper is so subtle but so very effective. And surely a happy sentiment for someone to receive.

Pretty card! Nice way to use the colors on this sketch. I like the doily framed sentiment. I have some that are similar but I haven't used them in a long time. I need to pull them out and put them to good use. Thx for the inspiration.
