A new journey for me for today's Way's to Use It challenge - I don't think I've ever stamped a card and then coloured/painted outside the lines on purpose. But I've been inspired by the many talented artists here on SCS and in blogland and I'm experimenting with a "loose" style. Stamped the butterflies using masking and Stayzon before watercoloring, spraying with water and splattering with paint. Then used some inks along the edges. Finished by adding jute twine and a vintage button.

Did you feel like you were being a bad girl coloring outside the lines?? LOL...well I'm glad you went against your prescribed way of doing things and tried something different..the result is BEAUTIFUL! The colors are lovely and the twine and antique button are just right.

What an artistic look to this card. This is so framable!!! I love the collage-y type images and spattering, Bridget!

It is a winner, Briget. Looks like you are a pro at the loose style already. My cards are pretty "stiff" but I don't thinks I could ever achieve this. It is beautiful.!

Bridget, I am a creature of habit, rule follower, etc. and find coloring outside the lines goes against my "natural grain" too. Fabulous job on your coloring, your card is beautiful!
