Fun, easy sketch today! I used ovals instead of a rectangle & flag, but otherwise it's the same.
I stamped the roses a few times & colored them with Copics. One image I die cut using an oval die and my out of the box Nestie technique. I have to say this was one of the most challenging Nestie out of the boxes I've done, w/ those tiny little stems!
The rest of the roses were fussy cut. The floral oval & ODBD/Spellbinders elegant ovals were embossed w/ the Swiss dot folder & I touched each of the raised dots w/ the white marker. The white die cut Quatrefoil Pattern die was attached over a dk red layer before everything was attached to a 5.50 x 4.25 card.
Thanks so much for looking! It's also on my blog: The Write Stuff

Talk about out of the box..this is out of this world! I have a hard time with a basic out of the box design..this is expertly crafted Julie! The deep red on this is so striking and I love that quatrefoil die..gorgeous card!!

The detail on your card is absolutely stunning. Beautiful, beautiful, detailed work! The coloring, the placement of your roses on both layered dies. And the sentiment - frosting on this gorgeous creation. Absolutely outstanding! Into my favorites.

Julie, this is an exquisite example of taking a simple sketch and turning it into a card that is multi-layered, filled with details and TRULY beautiful.
